2Unstoppable Strong (2UStrong) is a progressive strength training program for women who have been diagnosed with cancer. Developed in 2020 by an Advanced Qualified Cancer Exercise Specialist, 2UStrong is delivered on the virtual platform and incorporates evidenced-based exercise programming as recommended for most cancer patients. The program features strength and resistance training, cardio, balance, and flexibility, all important for women during and after cancer treatment. More importantly, 2UStrong incorporates valuable social support and connection from other women who get it. 

 

The 2UStrong program adheres to the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Exercise Guidelines for individuals with cancer.

2UStrong Fall Sessions Begin September 2024

10-Week program for Women who completed active cancer treatment within the last year

Class meets every Tuesday, September 10 – November 12

Tuesday: 6:15 pm – 7:15 pm EST

10-week program for women who are 1-5 years post treatment

Class meets every Tuesday, September 10 – November 12

Tuesday: 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm EST

6-week program for women living with metastatic cancer

Class meets every Tuesday September 10 – October 15

Tuesday: 10:00 am – 11:00 am EST

2UStrong Benefits

2Unstoppable Strong (2UStrong) is offered as a weekly small-group cardio virtual class where participants gradually increase the intensity of their strength training routine, allowing the musculoskeletal system to get stronger. Other benefits include:

  • Restore functional movement.
  • Learn proper technique and prevent injury.
  • Build a fitness foundation for life.
  • Find the social support you need to get moving.
  • Discover what you CAN do!

2UStrong Specifics

  • Taught by Certified Cancer Exercise Specialists.
  • Group meets once a week live over Zoom.
  • Supplementary videos and fitness plans are provided.
  • Classes are personalized within the group setting.
  • Small group of 6-10 participants.
  • A structured walking program is included and encouraged as a complementary fitness regimen.
  • Each participant receives a welcome equipment bag to help you keep moving during and after program completion.
  • Optional WhatsApp group for ongoing group support.

This program is currently free of charge. Thanks to generous donations from our supporters, we are able to offer this program at no cost. If you’d like to contribute to helping us keep this program free, a donation of $100 or any other amount that is meaningful to you would be greatly appreciated.

Please note, there may be a program fee in late fall, 2024.
