Ann Ford

Ann has been in the fitness and wellness industry since 1998.  She started as a certified personal trainer then became a certified group fitness instructor in 2000 (AFAA). She taught many formats in the health clubs including yoga. She enjoyed teaching yoga the most and decided to pursue continuing her training in yoga. She is a 500 hr RYT and 800 hr certified yoga therapist. Helping people move well in their bodies, becoming more aware of their physical body and especially learning more about their ‘inside’ stories in their minds.  

She also has training in Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy – where the Western psychological methods meets the Eastern movements and philosophies. She also is a fascial trainer and Eric Franklin Method movement teacher. She discovered the amazing self healing benefits practicing and teaching Tai Chi and Qi Gong. Ann has worked in the cancer community since 2008 and is a cancer exercise specialist. She enjoys bringing mind body movements and breath work to her participants.  

Her intention with teaching is to bring about levels of  awareness, reduce stress and tension, move with more ease and feeling a sense of equanimity.
